Expanding Embraer Partnership
VAS serves as Exclusive Embraer Aftermarket Partner and distribution center for more than 18,000 parts across a variety of Embraer aircraft platforms
VAS Aero Services, a global leader in aviation logistics and aftermarket services, announced the expansion of its distributor relationship with Embraer, the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial jets up to 120 seats. The agreement broadens VAS Aero Services’ role as Embraer Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) aftermarket provider to include surplus and pre-owned material for the E-Jets. The additional 3,000 part numbers bring VAS’s Embraer parts inventory total to more than 18,000 items for which VAS provides marketing, sales and distribution services.
“Since 2008 VAS Aero Services has proven to be a valuable aftermarket supply chain partner, expanding our parts and material distribution capability, and helping us to meet our aftersales commitment to customers around the world. We are pleased to build on this official Embraer OEM materials distributor relationship, establishing VAS as an important source for newly manufactured and surplus E-Jets parts,” Luiz Hamilton, Vice President of Services and Support for Commercial Aviation said.
The E-Jets family consists of four commercial jets with 70 to 122 seats, featuring advanced engineering design, efficient performance, outstanding operating economics, low emission levels and a spacious cabin without middle seats. Embraer has delivered more than 800 E-Jets since 2004, with over 1,000 orders. This agreement grants VAS Aero Services rights to market, sell and distribute several thousands of highly sought after parts for Embraer E-Jets. The new distribution agreement provides customers with:
- Access to thousands of authentic Embraer E-Jets parts
- Full OEM traceability from Embraer
- Immediate global shipments through VAS worldwide facilities

“With an increasingly broad global footprint, VAS Aero Services is well-positioned to provide Embraer’s airline customers with parts and materials support, wherever they may need it. We value our relationship with Embraer and appreciate their confidence on our ability to deliver innovative aftermarket services and solutions. This addition of E-Jets parts and materials further solidifies the ties between our two companies, and underscores our joint commitment to the customers who put their trust in Embraer aircraft,” said Adam Herman, VAS Aero Services Executive Vice President and COO.
